	Energy Diet Pledge I agree to CUT BACK the amount of energy I use at home in 2010 by AT LEAST 3% from the amount I/we used in 2009. I further agree to cut back at least another 3% from the 2009 base EVERY YEAR. (To figure out how much energy you’re consuming, use an energy calculator. We recommend the Ecological Footprint Quiz.)
	Living Lawns Campaign I/we will “get our lawn off drugs” – no more inorganic fertilizers, chemicals, pesticides or weed killers by the end of 2010. I want to protect my family and my neighborhood, save money, and I want to do my part to protect our water supply.
	Water Free and Clear I/we will not buy or drink bottled water. I will use only free and clear water from the tap. I will carry water only in safe, reusable containers. I pledge to use the money I save (could be over $10 per gallon) for other purposes, such as...
	Real Good Food From now on, I/we will increase the percentage of local food in our diet by 10%. I will seek out organic food whenever possible, and be sure at least five lunches and dinners per week contain no animal flesh (beef, pork, poultry, fish, seafood).
	*SWELL Neighbors** I/we will invite neighbors to join me/us in a potluck supper (or just dessert and coffee) one evening this season to socialize and talk about how we can pool resources and cooperate to live more sustainably.
